FF removed my crosshairs UPDATe

CD23 - Huge temp tip this morning 96.8 which was way under my coverline.  So now I am very confused.  I guess I havent ovulated yet.  My cervix this morning was firm, but still very high.  DH will be happy now we are good to TDT again without my being scared to screw anything up. lol  This is the weirdest cycle for me so far.  What could affect such a low temp drop if if I did ovulate 3 days ago?  I slept with the window open last night but I doubt that would affect it at all.

UPDATE
I checked my thermometer again after work and my temp was 98.6 this morning not 96.8. Ff gave we a ovulation day of Friday :) My thermometer keeps the last temp the next time I turn it on.

  1. There are a lot of things that can affect your temp - unrestful sleep, getting up to go to the bathroom during the night or sleeping in or getting up earlier than usual, etc. If tomorrow your temp is high again it probably makes sense just to disregard today's temp as an anomoly. That's what they suggest in TCOYF. I just started reading it on the weekend and I have not starting temping yet but it is really insightful, it sort of summarizes all the stuff you can read online (so in that way it's repetitive) but is written in such a way that I find it is putting my mind at ease a bit and giving me some helpful hints. http://www.tcoyf.com/

  2. Can you tell me how you got the fertility friend gadget to show up on your blog? I'd like to add it to mine. Thanks :)

    1. On my FF page i clicked on sharing, then copied the html code and added a html code box to my blog and pasted the html code. I hope that helps. If not let me know.

  3. Actually there is a reason for why you could have a pretty significant dip at 2-4DPO. It is called a corpus luteum dip. I can't quite remember exactly the reason for it but if you scout around the chart gallery at FF you will see there are quite a number of charts that get impressive dips in those early days which bounce back the next day. :-) Not that it is relevant anymore. lol.
