CD 14

When I woke up this morning I had a stomach ache, thought I was going to puke, and I was dizzy, but when the coughing and sneezing started, I feel a cold coming my way and my temp dropped to 97.0.  Took another OPK test (last night) and it was negative again.  If I did ovulate according to my OPK (second serge CD 10), then I am around 3DPO.   Still no sore boobs, or any other early pregnancy symptoms.

CD 13 - Temp drop

CD 13 - woke up this morning and was excited to take my temp to see if it rised... nope, went down to 97.1.  I think that means that I still have not ovulated, but I might ovulate tomorrow, which is too late for me :(  I have been searching for other FF charts that have been posted on BnB (Baby and Bump) to compare temps and see when they ovulated. Also My CM has been dry, which is also a bad sign :(
Day 2 with no coffee so far so good, I'm wide awake.

1DPO Maybe?

Took another OPK test today after work, around 5pm, and it was negative, no test line pretty much.  The pains I had earlier on this morning were on and off throughout the day.  As well now it feels like I have ben doing sit-ups for an hour.  My waking body temp has been the same 97.5 for the last two mornings, and if I did ovulate today my temp should go up tomorrow.  I tried to check my cervix again today, it seems softer than the last time, but not too sure.  Tomorrow I need to take a break from Baby and Bump site, and other baby sties as I am getting behind in my school work.  Since I spend all my time there, it might be hard.  No other symptoms yet as well.

Ovulation pains!!?!?!? :) :) :)

I am currently at work (but I had to post this), I am starting to feel some cramp like pains down there! And I have never been so excited to have pain before lol. Not sure if it's o pain or not but I really hope it is. It does not seem to be on one side or the other kind centered.
Wish me luck that I ovulate today :)

Signs??

Just a quick update.  I drink coffee every morning, sometimes 2 cups, and sometimes in the afternoon... this morning, made a cup of coffee took one drink and that was it.  Not that it didn't taste good, just didn't want it.  As well, I tend to breakout all of the time.  I usually always have a pimple on my face, today, my face is sooooo clear!! Never happens to me, i might be able to not wear coverup today :) . Not sure if it means anything or not. Just wanted to write it down incase.  Have a great day :)

Still no signs of Ovulation

CD 11 and still no signs of ovulation.  The little swimmers are going on 48 hours now :( almost too late.  I have read a few blogs with women saying they got pregnant after having sex even up to 5 days prior to ovulation, most of which resulted in girls (the others didn't say the sex of the baby).  If I do not see any signs on ovulation by tuesday at the latest, I think my chances this month are over :(
The main things that I am paying close attention to now is my CM, as well as ovary pain.  Although I do not recall ever having pain that was not during my actual period (cramps) over the years.  As for the CM, that is all new to me.  I have noticed it before but never really knew too much about it or pay any attention to when in my cycle it happened.  I wish I had, it would make things easier now lol.

Since I am slightly feeling like this is not our month for a BPF, I went ahead and ordered a 50-pack of ovulation test strips and some pregnancy test strips.  As well I ordered Preseed.  I have read many success stories using the preseed, so I ordered it to give it a try in a few months (May) when my husband is back from work.  For my next cycle, I am going to try to start charting everything, to get a better understanding of my body and my cycles.  This way I will be better prepared for our next TTC cycle.

Still praying that we get a BFP in 19 days (and counting)  :)

TWW

So I dropped by husband off at the airport 2 days ago :( and now I am jut sitting here waiting  and praying that we did all we could to get a BFP in a few weeks.  I do not think I ovulated yet, so hoping that I ovulate either today or tomorrow.  Not too sure if BDing 3 days before I ovulate will be to late or still good.  Still going to wait it out and test though because you never know.  I am doing research about ovulation now, signs and symptoms and I am paying more attention to my body now.  New to checking the position of my cervix.  Mixed reviews online about if it works or not.  I have checked a few times, confused each time.  Also continuing to use the OPK tests, after thinking that I had a positive a few days ago, 3 more tests yesterday.  Around 9am, the line (First Response OKP) was getting darker, after the prior test went lighter, and now getting darker does that mean a second LH serge? Is that posible?  So i took another test around 2pm (Drugstore brand) and it was close to positive.  Later that day I went to a charity dinner called Night on the Town in our Gown, yes wedding gown.  300 ladies no men, other than the 2 male MCs wearing a dress lol.  Dinner and dance.  Most of the ladies, wore their own wedding dresses, some dresses were over 20 years old.  It was neat to see all of the different styles.  It was fun to get out of the house and not be constantly doing baby research.  I did not drink anything but water.  I never drink nor do I smoke (hubby doesn't either).  Anyways... when I got home from the party I took another OPK(first response) test, and the test strip was so light, hardly able to see it.  So my question is, if I did have a second positive 2 days later, how short or long can a serge last?  If anyone is reading this I would love some feedback, the internet is full of different opinions.  I am not giving up hope yet.  I will take another test in a few hours and I hope that the line is very light.  :)  On another note, I stopped watching my normal TV shows  the last week all I have been watching is baby shows :) .
Have a great day fellow TTCers :D

New OPK

On my second OPK last night was darker than the first that was about 6 hours earlier.  Which is a good sign as that means that I will be ovulating soon.  But for some reason I just do not think that the test was accurate.  My cycles are usually around 30 days, but can go from 28-35 days even longer.  The last 4 or 5 cycles have been pretty close to 30 days.  All the research that I have done says that I should ovulate around CD 14.  Since I am only at CD 9 today, part of me wanted to believe that the OPK tests from yesterday were accurate because I would love to get pregnant this cycle (today being the last day we can BD) , but I also don't think its possible to get a positive LH surge this early, so I dont want to get my hopes up.  Today we bought a different brand of OPK, the First Response tests.  Used one of the new tests around 2pm today showed a negative for sure, the pink line was so light.  Now I am doing research reading other TTC blogs to see if anyone else with a 30 day cycle ovulate early as well.  I would be really happy if I can find some success stories that are similar to mine.

OPK

CD 8 - used the OPK test this afternoon, and it was not positive but the second line was there but faint.  Going to try taking another test in a few hours.  Still hoping for a BFP in March.  Hubby's birthday is in March, so that would be a great gift for him.  :)

BabyandBump.com

I have have recently created an account on the site BabyandBump.com.  I love that site!  Full of great information and is interesting to read other TTC couples journeys.  I am new to the whole message board, and there are so many current chats on that site, so I am trying to read as much as I can.  I also like that you can see other women that are TTC cycle charts.  Today (CD7) is my first day of charting my cycle, and my temp was 95.6.  By keeping track of my temps I'm hoping to get a better understanding of when I ovulate.  Learning so much, and loving it. :)

Bump in the road

Today is CD 6, and we just found out that my husband is heading back to work (overseas for a few months) in 3 or 4 days.  He will be leaving on CD 9 or 10, there is still a chance at conceiving this month, and we are hoping that we will be successful.  If not it will be a long next few months, until Marc is back home.  A lot of blogs mention not to stress out or over think it.  Both are hard to avoid.  I have been doing so much research and reading a lot of blogs, looking at baby names, it is almost like an addiction.  I am about halfway through the What to Expect Before You're Expecting book, and I am learning a lot.  My husband is learning a lot as well.  As I learn something new and interesting, I always share it with him.  I am blessed that my husband cares enough to want to learn with me.  I will miss him when he leaves, but hopefully I will have a little surprise for him when he comes home in a few months.

~I love you Marc~

First `What to Expect` Book

Purchased the What To Expect Before You`re Expecting book today.  The book is full of useful information, but is also very overwhelming at the same time.  I have been doing so much research and reading other TTC blogs and it`s starting to stress me out.  Marc heads back overseas the first week of March, and we are really hoping to conceive this cycle.  We also purchased an ovulation test kit as well.  In most of the blogs that I have been reading, most of them recommend to use the ovulation test to increase your chance at conceiving.  As well today I took my first prenatal pill.  Not sure what else I can do to increase my chances at conceiving, but I will continue my research.

The Beginning of our Journey

My husband Marc and I got married on August 24, 2011.  Six months later, we are ready to create the next chapter of our love story.  Starting a family has always been a common interest with my husband and I.  Marc works overseas for two consecutive months and then is back home for 2 months, and so on.  As timing is everything when it comes to trying to conceive, it might be a challenge as we are hoping to become pregnant this year.  February, 2012 is our first month of trying to conceive and this is the beginning of our journey.
